Confusion and fun are the business of the day at Kamp Kaos - a summer camp that boasts its own 12-watt radio station. It’s opening day at camp and Director Wally Schneider is already in trouble: the mortgage is due, the world’s wealthiest woman wants to buy the camp, the county health inspector is coming and the mysterious weather phenomenon El Gordo has brought a migration of mice! It’s up to the wacky gang of counselors and campers to save the day when Wally eats cheese laced with sedative.
Join directors Kim Scott and Amanda Britt to learn the ins and outs of theatre as we work together to put on a show!
This camp starts with auditions on June 21 and 22, then runs from the last week of June through July 31. Younger campers will have different days and times than older campers. Dates, times and other details will be discuss at the the parent meeting June 25. The show will be filmed and made available on-line as well as performed live outside on the Shull Pavilion on July 30 and 31.
Covid guidelines will be adhered to and a waiver will be required for your child to participate.

Disney songs are heavily suggested for at least one of your selections! Please be as memorized as you can be and have a karaoke track for the songs you choose. (Don’t pick a song without a karaoke track!) If you are interested please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org. We want to make sure we don’t have duplicate songs so have backups for you backups! We will perform outside on the Shull Pavilion at the Arts Center Aug. 1st, 2021 at 5pm. Ages - 14+
Covid19 guidelines will be adhered to and a waiver will be required for you or your child to participate.
Have you ever wanted to find out what goes on behind the scenes of a show? What does a stagehand do? Who builds the set or runs the sound? What matters most when filming actors on stage?
Join Technical Director Richard Kiraly for a chance to learn and create behind the scenes at Kamp Kaos. Plan to work on the set, learn about sound and lights and how to film a show.
The show will be filmed and made available on-line as well as performed live outside on the Shull Pavilion on July 30 and 31.
The first two weeks are morning camps while the last week will be production week, with times TBD.
Wouldn't it be cool if you could find something to do with all of the plastic bags and bottles and more that people use and toss? Well artists all over the world have been doing just that - creating works of art from the things others throw away. Materials included.
Join us this summer as we explore the things we can recycle into a work of Art!
Covid19 guidelines will be adhered to and a waiver will be required for your child to participate.
