Get your hands in the clay! Enjoy learning foundational and contemporary methods of making, finishing and glazing handmade pottery to create your own useful and decorative pottery. Pottery: Wheel-Throwing with Anne Schultz
Throw it! Have fun learning to make and finish pottery on the potter’s wheel. Classes cover centering clay, forming, trimming and glazing pots, to create your own useful and decorative items. Experienced students will work on advancing their skills and creating a personal style. All skill levels are welcome! Class sizes are limited to maintain social distancing. Masks are required. Piano Lessons with Jaston Hawes
Jaston Hawes graduated from the USC/Columbia earning a Performance Certificate in Voice as well as his B.A. in Music Education (K-12). He earned his Masters in Choral Conducting (under the direction of Dr. Larry Wyatt and Dr. Alicia Walker) and served as the assistant Director of the Dutch Fork Choral society). Jaston has acted as the music director for musicals at the AC for the last 3 years and teaches General Music Education for Kershaw County Public Schools. Classes are paid for by the month. The teacher will contact students as to days and times once they have registered. (ages 8 to adult)

Harp with Nina Brooks
7 years through adults
Nina Fore Brooks is a freelance performer and educator. She studied music at the U of S.C. and Columbia College, S.C., earning her Masters degree in Music. A certified Music Instructor, she teaches school-age children, college students and adults. Nina is a member of the American Harp Soc. & NLAPW in Washington D.C.
Nina has performed around the world, notably with the Cunard, Radisson and Celebrity Cruise Lines and has been playing harp for over 25 years as an expert at her art.
INFORMATION on rental or purchasing individual harps is available from teacher with lists of suppliers.

Scene Study/Character Development with Thomas Santiago Wright
Teens 16+ and Adults
Student’s will mastering the acting technique of taking a scene and breaking it down to bring their best performance. Study will cover scene structure, actions and motivations, along with character development. As part of the 4 week training sessions, students will perform their chosen scene role, opposite instructor as their scene partner, for class review. Materials provided by instructor. Saturdays 1-3 pm

Join Acting Coach Kim Scott for a comprehensive class in acting for the stage. Whether you are new to the art or a practiced hand at treading the boards, this class will help you improve the skills needed to bring a character to life. You will learn ways to use your voice, body and mind to create as realistic or fantastical a persona as is needed. Learn cold reading and other preparation skills that will give you the confidence to go for it at the auditions and for a showcase! Ages 8-18

Art for Kids with Missy Ward
The main goal for this class is to get students ages 5-8 to love art! We will look at the basic concepts of art, practice basic art skills, use various art mediums, learn about famous artists and feel successful at being an artist ! After all, a famous artist named Picasso, once said, “Every child is an artist.” And he should know!
Register by Friday before first class. Six Sessions

Clay for Kids with Missy Ward - Grades 1-3
Students will learn the very basics of working with clay. We will learn how to hand build small projects using pinch pots, slabs, and coils. Students will learn the importance of what it means to 'slip and score' to keep their projects from falling apart! This class is more about the process than the product, but students will still have a fun time, learn a lot about clay and make some cool stuff! And we will get dirty! So, please wear old clothes! 6 weeks
