    Amanda Britt is a graduate of Winthrop University. She studied Opera, Musical Theatre and Classical Music. Amanda has been performing in shows at the AC for 4 years and teaches several Musical Theatre classes for all ages. She has been the musical director for the AC’s children’s shows for the last 4 years. Amanda is also available to teach music theory. Classes are paid for by the month.     Solo Zoom Musical with Amanda Britt, 13 and up

    During this class you will sing songs right from home! You will do research and learn about your song and show. You will create costumes, props and sets from what you can find at home. We will work on the emotional connection between the character and the words or the moments in the songs you choose! Depending on the number of students we will have half meet on Monday and half on Tuesday! The show will end with a recital to be determined!

    How to Read Music All ages with Amanda Britt

    In this class you will learn how to read music. We will cover everything from basic music theory to how to find your notes on the piano. Knowing how to read music is very important if you want to be in a musical or a choir. It is also important for anyone interested in music. This is for all levels of readers.
