    Project: Photo with Richard Kiraly

This series is for Ages 10 through Adult.

Project: Photo is an in-person class designed for collaborative photo projects where all students will be expected to work together. Our focus will be on Arts Center of Kershaw County events such as, but not limited to, plays, musicals, concerts, fundraisers, art/clay/music classes; but will also include some solo projects (homework), where you can be creative on your own! Of course, this will give us a better opportunity to provide one-on-one equipment guidance, techniques, and tips and tricks! Some of our sessions will be outdoors, weather permitting, and some will be indoors - and some will be off-campus, at locations within our community that we all agree on and choose. And we may still do a few virtual lessons, especially when reviewing your work and providing constructive criticism.

Each session is designed to be modular so that students can take on a single project, or a series of projects. Pricing is available per-class or per-four week session.

All equipment is allowed. There are no special supplies or equipment required other than access to a portable camera such as a cell phone, laptop, instant, film, digital, or video camera. This series is for ages 10 and up.

Richard Kiraly is a photographer who's primary goal is to celebrate and document the Arts in all of its forms. A South Carolina resident since 2001, he has worked with Town Theatre, Trustus Theatre, and The Arts Center of Kershaw County to spotlight theatrical art and artists from all over the state and beyond. His technical background in photography includes professional work with FujiFilms, Olympus Cameras, and Hewlett Packard's Digital Publishing Solutions division, as well as photo-journalism and studio work.
